![]() Here are the results shortly describe as in previous version. The conclusion of the research found several future areas of research within HaXD. With microinteractions such as checkboxes and radio buttons benefitting greatly by the haptic enhancement. The results show a general increase in the perceived usefulness of tested microinteractions. These themes combined with previous haptic principles serve as the academic foundation on which answers to the research questions was made. In this thesis, a number of four themes were found. This method allows for the creation of themes to be used in the final discussion of the report. This data was analysed using a qualitative analysis method called Applied Thematic Analysis (ATA). Nine participants were interviewed and studied using these methods. The collection method relied on a combination of two types of research methods, usability studies and in-depth interviews. This study is of qualitative character meaning it relies on qualitative data. ![]() A software prototype was produced in a prototype tool called Protopie and then tested on an iOS device (iPhone 11 pro). The participants also test and evaluated generic haptic patterns currently available on iOS devices. Microinteractions are defined as small actions responding to user interaction, examples tested in this study included, simple buttons, radio buttons, checkboxes and dropdown menus. ![]() It studied the perceived usefulness of haptic feedback in correlation to specific microinteractions. With the importance of microinteraction in user daily lives and with the increase of availability of haptic generating devices, this thesis studies how a realistic user group perceive haptic feedback in microinteractions. This research explores how haptic feedback can increase the usefulness of microinteractions on touchscreen devices. Only moving layer A on the original scene changes the variable value correctly.Haptiskt förbättrade Mikrointeraktioner : En studie om hur haptisk feedback påverkar den upplevda användarbarheten av mikrointeraktioner på handhållna touchskärm enheter (Swedish) I’ve also tried creating a variable that pulls the x position of layer A, but paging A in the preview doesn’t change that variable’s content. If I move the actual layer in the document, it does what I want, but not when I page in the preview. I've tried using the chain function, but it seems that the layers inside a paging container don't seem to "have" position data per se. When I page from A to B, I need paging container 3 to move into position over paging container 2, so I can now page it's content. Paging container 3 contains three rectangle layers - content that relates to layer B Paging container 2 contains three rectangle layers - content that relates to layer A Paging container 1 contains rectangle layers A and B Instead it is the "old version" and only the cloud version has my most recent file.ĭoes anyone know if it's possible to use the x position of a layer within a paging container to control the x position of another object? Working on a new file > Save locally > finished making revisions > save locally and then upload to the cloud > file remains open in the protopie interface > realized I need to add in some more elements > add them in and save > save only goes to my cloud and not my local machine > Close the file > go back a day later with revision notes and any changes that I have made to the file after I saved it to the cloud are no longer on my local machine. Protopie was not like this before and I can't seem to find a way in Preferences to turn this feature off or choose how I would like to have my files saved. If I have saved to the cloud at any time, any saves after that go directly to the cloud and no longer update the file on my local machine. The issue I have come across is when I am working on a file and make changes. It took a minute to orient myself but now I am on board. I really like the new interface for saving locally vs saving on the cloud. This past week my protopie forced me to update and login again to the new version.
